抄録

The purpose of this paper is to find out of the Community Education practice of The Akita Woman's Normal School that compiled "Akita Pr. Comprehensive Community Studies" (1939). Early in the Showa era, Community Education prevailed on the national-wide scale not only elementary schools attached to normal schools. Until now, this phenomena have been considered to been caused by some reason as follows ; the influence of world-wide depression, policies by the Ministry of Education to promote Community Education and activities of Community Education League. Especially policies by the Ministry of Education played the important role, one of them was the compilation of "Comprehensive Community Studies". "Comprehensive Community Studies" was compiled 4cases at all, "Akita Pr. Comprehensive Community Studies" was one of them.
