NPO 法人｢逢い｣は, 在宅障害者の地域生活支援を目的に, 創作的活動, 生産活動, 地域社会との交流活動, 余暇活動等の福祉サービスを提供している. 様々な作業を通じた障害者一人ひとりの能力発揮, 仲間や地域の人たちとの交流を通じた対人関係技能の向上や役割活動の獲得, 地域住民が障害を持ったメンバーを理解する機会の提供などの活動を通じて, メンバーの生活技能や対人関係技能の向上といった成果が得られている. 安定的な事業収入の確保など運営上の課題はあるが, 今後もメンバー一人ひとりのニーズに合った多様な福祉サービスを企画・提供していきたい. The incorporated nonprofit organization Ai provides welfare services such as creative activities, productive activities, interchange with the local community and leisure activities for the purpose supporting handicapped persons living at home in their community. The exercise of the handicapped person’s abilities through the various activities, the improvement of skills in handling human relationships and acquisition of role activities through interchange with other handicapped persons and local residents, and the opportunities offered for handicapped and non-handicapped members of the community to get to know and understand each other, brought results such as the improvement of life skills and skills in handling human relationships. Although issues such as acquisition of stable funding for the service remain, we would seek to provide and promote a range of welfare services depending on individual member’s needs.
