Abstract

This paper discussed various aspects of body focusing on the ambiguous body. Not to miss the lively aspect of body sense, it introduced "the phenomenological body" (Ichikawa, 1975) and confirmed familiar body which we come in daily firstly. Secondly, clinical psychologically it revealed that we can find ambiguous body each aspect of body -- subjectivity /objectivity, corporality, heterogeneousness, way of perception and the derivation of the word. Then that subjectivity /objectivity is superordinate standpoint and corporality or heterogeneousness is junior ambiguity. Also there is another standpoint which is the inside/outside, on which derivation of the word belongs. The ambiguity in way of perception belongs both standpoints, subjectivity /objectivity and inside/outside. This paper eventually find that it is important not to lean to each of the ambiguity of body, but to sway between each aspect of the ambiguity.
