A numerical method was developed to solve the three-dimensional potentialdistribution about a point source of direct current located in or on a cylindrical shapedarbitrary conductivity distribution. In order to express the cylindrical -shaped outerboundary, we used cylindrical coordinate system in formulation and applied Neumannboundary condition to all external boundaries. For performance evaluation, numericalresults obtained by this method were compared with experimental results usingsimulation sample (conductive plastic). These results had roughly agreement. Theseagreements support the validity of new method.
