Among many questions as to the logical truths, there is a question of the relation of the logical truths to the truths of empirical sciences such as physics and biology. In this article, I propose to examine the views of Quine and Kneale in connection with the question of the laws of logic and those of empirical sciences, and then state my view that the logical truths are related to an interpretation of the world which is a pattern of adaptation of mankind to its environment.
