Population dynamics of Tube-nosed bats, Murina leucogaster Milne-Edwards, 1872 during three years were studied in Kawachi no kaza-ana cave, Taga-Cho, Shiga Prefecture. In the cave, the bats begin to gather at the first of February, and the population increases gradually, the peak is from the last of April to the first of May. After that the population decrease suddenly until at the first of June. It is unusual to observe this species in the cave, until at the last of January. The maximum pululation of 2001 was 122 bats at five of May, and that of 2002 was 160 at 24th ot April.
