We aimed to develop a nutrition education program for infants. 79 child care persons were surveyed of a nutrition education. And we developed a participation-type nutrition education program for infants. By questionnaire of 79 people, the relationship between activity and knowledge of nutrition education was demonstrated. The child care person would like to get knowledge of food and nutrition, and nutrition education program. Based on these results, a participation-type nutrition education program was planned. This program contained a cooking, a select menu of food service, and educational lecture. After educational experiences, about 50% of the participating infants did select a good balance menu. It will be necessary to promote a participation-type nutrition education program of preschool children.
