From the viewpoint of language acquisition, English in movies is practical teaching material. Students can learn authentic English through English in movies. Concerning English teaching strategies, it's important to focus much attention on the method to use this material effectively. And careful consideration is given to the strategies for speaking and listening training in this paper. Furthermore I would like to point out that it's very useful to use movies in that one can learn the ways of intercultural nonverbal as well as verbal communication.
