Description

Artificial lightning generated by impulse voltage and current sources was imposed on a test vehicle to investigate the surge voltage and current induced in the vehicle's metal body. The surges showed high frequency oscillation with rapid decay and the voltage swing varied with observing and ground reference points in the vehicle.
