Abstract
Described here is a practical research project to develop an experimental product that is designed to create emotional bonds and reify a characteristic "arnbiance" between the giver and recipient, and verify its effectiveness by interviewing test users. The project conception is composed of two parts. First is the transforming of a product (object) to utility (service) along an intended time axis. Included in a discussion are not only product design, but also the aspect of user experience designing. After idea development, we have designed a gift named ONE, a box consisting of two post cards. As the user test, it is suggested that the product can be emotional and give us the some positive impression.
