Description

In the present paper, lateral vibration problems of an equilateral triangular plate and a triangular plate having inner angles of 30, 60 and 90 degrees were solved exactly in the case with all edges simply supported; and approximately, by means of the Trefftz and the Ritz method in those cases with all or some edges clamped and the others simply supported. Numerrical results calculated here are considered to be within the accuracy required for practical purposes
