本稿では，写真撮影とメモ書きという日常的かつ直感的な手段を融合し，それらの行為を複数ユーザで共有することで，体験共有コミュニケーションを支援するシステムPhotoChat を紹介する．PhotoChat は，カメラを内蔵した携帯型のパソコン上で動作することを想定したソフトウェアで，デジタルカメラのように写真撮影することができる．また，ペンインタフェースを用いて，写真の上に書き込みをすることができる．それらの写真や書き込みのデータは，無線ネットワークにより他のユーザと実時間で共有されるので，互いの興味への気づきを促し，その上で自然に会話（チャット）を行うことを可能とする．本稿では，PhotoChat のシステム実装と，その利用経験から観察されたPhotoChat ユーザ間のインタラクションのパターンを報告し，来たるユビキタス社会における体験共有コミュニケーションのあり方を議論する．

This paper proposes PhotoChat, a system that helps communications among users sharing experiences by enabling them to share photos and notes. PhotoChat is intended to be used like digital camera and running on mobile PCs with camera module. PhotoChat users can write notes on the shared photos with the pen interface. The data, i.e., photos and notes, are shared among the PhotoChat users in real time, and then it enables them to know others' interests and to chat easily. In this paper, we show the implementation of the PhotoChat system and interaction patterns among the PhotoChat users observed during our experimental evaluations.
