授業形式の2段階過程キーボード教育の試み

Abstract

1)最初の2～3回の授業でAB～YZ12～90Enter 37文字の入力秒数を平均で6秒を切るくらいにする，2)その後の授業で，毎回AB～YZ12～90Enterの37文字入力練習を行った後，先生が指定した順番どおりに声を出しながらタッチタイプソフトの練習を行う，という授業形式の2段階過程キーボード教育法を使って，受講者約2,500人のローマ字単語入力の進展具合を調べた．そして，授業1回ごとにローマ字単語入力速度が約4文字毎分ずつ増えていくこと，受講者全員の入力速度の底上げを特徴とすること，短期の情報科目集中講義でも同じ結果が得られること，等が分かった．また，いくつかのキーボード教育法との比較を行った．この授業形式の2段階過程キーボード教育法は，キーボード練習を受講者の独習に任せるよりも実質練習時間をずっと短くでき，講義内容の理解にも役に立つ．

A method of two step processes of teaching the keyboarding in class is reported with its consequences and analyses. With the first step process, students can type the 37 keys of AB～YZ12～90Enter in 6 seconds in first 2 or 3 classes. In the second step process of the later classes, students firstly type the 37 keys fifteen times, and then they type letters with their voices by following the instruction for the order of using touch type software given by a teacher. It is found, for about 2,500 students, that student types about 4 Japanese characters more per a minute per a class. It is also found that same progress in typing is obtainable with a same number of classes even in a short term intensive course.
