The structured group encounter (SGE) was executed for ten high school students. The change in the level of the self-affirmative feeling and the adult career maturity was examined, and the effectiveness of the SGE in the counseling on choice of college and the career education was found at that time. The student who experienced SGE catches himself/herself of the truth, and, in addition, the self-affirmative feeling has risen to the self-receipt. The student reviewed the self, discovered his problem in the future, and was able to draw a concrete image of the future by experiencing SGE. In that, the desire for the future has risen to students. It is necessary to note the following matter to do SGE effectively. In a word, it is effective intervention etc. that set the content of the presentation of the flow of the target and time and the exercise and the encounter procedures, and match it to the feature of the group. And, it is necessary to do these approaches according to the realities of the school and the class.
