Abstract

In recent years, ISO 9000s and 14000s system standards have become widespread as managers of small businesses have shown great interest in them. ISO 9000s have been revised in December, 2000, the interest of the small business is still high. The rapid spread of ISO standards have brought the strain in the small business. I confirm significance of certification of ISO 9000s for the small business (10-30 persons) while paying attention to the flexibility and characteristic. And I consider the direction having to do with the concrete of the construction of quality management system on the effectiveness for the small business, focusing on the fusion with ISO standard and TQM.
