This is the 10th report of successive studies on analysis of some emotional experiences. In this study I aim to analyze the experience of regret. 586 free descriptions in 607 written subjects were adopted as available data. These descriptions were classified in 50 scenes, and then classified into 12 patterns. Finally, these were organized in 3 themes about relation to one-self. That is (1) loss of contact with a familiar person, (2) loss of balance in regular life, (3) loss of accomplishment about goals. In the next step were made up frequencies of these scenes, patterns, or themes, and investigated those means. The conclusions showed that constitution of experience about regret has 6 elements. That is A) themes, B) lack of threshold level about aspiration, C) lack of threshold level about consciousness, D) lack of threshold level about coping, E) loss as a corollary, F) agent is one's own self.
