16 years have passed since I worked at Nippon Institute of Technology (NIT) and I will reach the retirement age at the end of this March. After having a career at NTT laboratories, I was adopted as a professor in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, and in the Innovative Systems Engineering Department which was newly created, the department chief I experienced. After graduating from university, I am fortunate that I have consistently engaged in research and development, and have been able to walk the course of education further. In this report, I introduce what I remembered most as a university faculty member. I am in charge of electromagnetism and control-related lectures and graduation research for students, among them the graduation research is the best of memories. Over 140 bachelor students and 10 master students were instructed about their thesis and theory. I will select some contents from many research themes and introduce the overview.
