Abstract

Focusing on Investment Promotion Act and Foreign Business Act that was enforced in 1972 in Thailand, I have studied about Thailand's government strategy of foreign tourism companies. Tourism (especially in Hotel) market intervention by Government could get over underdevelopment of market, and support to sustainable development without falling into market failure. And it successfully actualized rural and potential tourist area, and corrected the regional gap between urban and rural area.
