Some kinds of Cd-Zn alloy were distilled in vacuum. Then, cadmium concentration of distilled metal obtained and that calculated theoretically based on Cd percent in charged metal were compared with each other. As the result, it was found that experimental values were lower than calculated values. Respecting the cause for the difference, equilibrium of metal and the vapor, condensation ratio of metal vapor and problems of apparatus were investigated.
