Abstract

Sagoromo-Monogatari is a literary work by Rokujo-Saiin-Senji, a court lady in the later Heian Era. In this Story, there are many descriptions about Saiins, princesses in the service of Kamo Shrine. These descriptions are studied from a historical point of view.
