腹横筋が脊椎の安定性に重要な役割を果たしてることが指摘されている。しかし,腹横筋は身体深部に位置しており,客観的な身体的検査が困難である。本研究は,圧バイオフィードバック装置と超音波診断装置を用いて,腹横筋の機能評価を試み,臨床応用のための基礎的知見を得ることを目的とした。結果は,腹横筋の選択的収縮が得られた群と得られなかった群の圧変化(平均±標準偏差)は,それぞれ-4.2±2.0mmHg(n=10),0.1±3.2mmHg(n=12)であり,両群間に統計的有意差を認めた(p<0.05)。したがって,圧バイオフィードバック装置と超音波診断装置を用いることによって,腹横筋の機能を評価できる可能性が示唆された。

It is pointed out that the transeversus abdominis muscle plays an important role for the spinal stabilization. Because transversus abdominis muscle lies in the deeper part of the body, it is difficult to do the objective physical examination. The purpose of this study was to try the functional evaluation of the transeversus abdominis muscle through the ultrasonic diagnostic imaging equipment and the pressure bio-feedback equipment in order to get the basic knowledge for the clinical application. Based on these results, the possibility to be able to evaluate the function of the transeversus abdominis muscle using ultrasonic diagnostic imaging equipment and pressure bio-feedback equipment.
