Abstract

This study investigated the image of the words about the mental health that school nurses and students use officially. School nurse are working in the elementary school. Students are learning childcare and school nurse education. The words that intended for are health, sympathy, reception, glance same as children, signature, need, place to stay and healing. We categorized many replied images. As a result we found various kinds of categories such as meaning of that words, method to introduce the meaning of the words, method to realize the contents of that words, reaction when they heard that words, and so on. In answers of school nurse there were many answers reflecting their job experience in comparison with students. As a result of these it was suggested that even the conversation between a school nurse and students was more likely to be used for a different meaning and image.
