本稿は感情移入の特質と、その行為に従事する人間の重要性について考察したものである。具体的には、感情移入を助長する主な行動、条件といったものを取り上げ、それらの実践を通常授業の中で、どのように統合していけばよいのかに関し、教員向けの提案を試みている。

This article is an inquiry into the nature of empathy and the importanceof human beings engaging in empathetic behavior. Key behaviors andconditions that encourage empathy are described and suggestions madefor teachers on how to integrate the practice of these behaviors into theirregular classroom lessons.
