抄録

Museum have these main purposes: to collect and store the materials concerning history, art, folklore, and natural science, to put these materials use of enrichment, investigation and recreation by showing and displaying to the general public, and to investigate these materials. The museum curator who works in the museum is the professional staff and has a national qualification prescribed by the Museum Law. Museum Education Theory, a required course for the qualification, is to deeply understand the educational role of the museum curators and their specific role between the museum and the schools from the elementary schools to the universities in the consistent system of education. By analyzing the museum and the facilities of the fountain pen, I propose for the upgrading of food service by restaurants, cafes, and specialized shop in the museums, already equipped in the libraries and the art museums, in addition to the development of the roles such as exhibition and display, the design of the interior and exterior, the construction of aesthetic space, and the service for the visitors and researchers. Additionally, this paper reports about the transmission of the craftsmanship in Kijiya (wood-turners) and the tradition and future of production of the fountain pen in Japan.
