This report is a part of longitudinal studies on anxieties in university students, and possibilities for the supporting activities. Follow-up survey will be done to the students who enter the department of juvenile education in Teikyo Heisei University, 2012. In every survey, the degree of the anxieties in each of students and the causes of that are showed. In this report, the change of the anxiety of freshmen in the first term of 2012 is showed. The surveys were done in first and fourth week in April and third week in July, 2012. 97 students' replies which replied to all three investigations were analyzed. The degree of anxiety in the start of first term is the highest, it has fallen in the next survey and it was still low in the third survey. There is no characteristic difference in the changing of the degree of anxiety between male and female. The most cause of anxiety in the first survey is about “How to take courses". In the second survey, it is about “How to study in University". This survey will be continued and the result and analysis are due to be reported.
