With the aging of society, in order to provide total and comprehensive care to the individual team medical care and treatment is essential and this should be emphasized from the stage of the basic education of medical professionals.The purpose of this research was, therefore, to clarify the differences in understanding between pharmacology and nursing students who had taken courses which emphasized cross-field coordination.On a practical plane, the writers, distributed an 18 point questionnaire, with the approval of the university ethics committee, to the above students.The result of this was that 9 points showed significant differences.Problems were also noted in the unbalance of participants, clarifying targets, and the need to start instruction from an early stage.It also became clear that work across departments and an education coordination project team would be essential.
