Description

We describe the history of the foundations of geometry, beginning from D. Hilbert and was completed by the school of A. Tarski. Though Hilbert began the axiomatization of geometry in the modern sense, it was Tarski who gave a strictly logical representation to geometry to draw an explicit distinction between the naive geometry of Euclid's and the early - modern geometry.
