本研究の目的は、看護事故を招きやすい看護婦の安全態度と性格との関連を、新卒看護婦に焦点を当てて明らかにすることである。新卒看護婦 111 名を対象として、(1)矢田部ギルフォード性格検査、(2)自作の安全態度テスト、(3)自作の事故経験チェックリストによる調査を実施した。 87名分のデータを分析対象として、以下のような結論を得た。１．看護事故を招きやすい安全態度に関与する性格は、情緒不安定と外向性である。特に情緒不安定は安全態度に深く関与している。２．性格と事故親和性の関係はあまり強くない。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between safety attitudes of nurses and their personalities, focusing on new nursing professionals. The data were collected through surveys on 111 new nursing professionals, using (1) Yatabe-Guilford test, (2) our original test for safety attitudes, and (3) our original checklist of the occurence of an accident.After analyzing the data for 87 new nursing professionals, the following results were obtained.: 1. The personalities which involved in safety attitudes easy to cause nursing accidents were emotionl lability and extroversion, Emotional lability, especially, deeply involved in safety attitudes. 2. The relationship between personalities of nurses and accident-proneness was not very close.
