Abstract

話し相手ボランティアの行動原理、組織原理、社会原理の解明というテーマに沿って、本稿では、話し相手ボランティア活動の支援の一環としての「定例会」のあり方を具体的にすることを目的としている。埼玉県T市において、2005年3月より月1回の割合で開催されている定例会の3月から7月までの5回分の逐語録を、参加者と進行役別にKJ法によって分析し、その内実を把握したうえで、ハンナ・アレントの「活動理論」に依拠しつつ、「定例会」のあり方を考察した。最終的には、活動支援としての「定例会」に求められる機能と役割を明らかにしたものである。具体的には、「定例会」が活動支援として機能するためには、活動者の「活動への勇気」を後押しするように機能しなければならないこと、「定例会」は参加者の全ての自由な語りに開かれ、(1)活動者と対象者の未完の「対話」を一巡、補完、完結させる場として機能すること、(2)活動者が、自身の(家族)物語を再構成する場として機能すること、(3)対話や関係作りの技術、方法など必要とする知識を得て学ぶ場として機能することが求められていることを明らかにした。また、「定例会」の進行役は、モデレーター(調整役)やプロモーター(促進者)としてあるべきことを提起した。

This paper aims to discuss the details of regular meetings as a part of voluntary activities for support. The discussion will be conducted accordingly to the themes, the principles of the action of the volunteers, principles of organization, and social principles. The state of the regular meeting was considered based on the Hannah Arnett's activity ethics. This was conducted by analyzing the recordings of the facilitator and the participants at a regular meeting held once every month from March 2005 in T City, Saitama prefecture using the KJ method. The role and the function of regular meetings as the support for activities are clarified. Specifically, in order for a regular meeting to function as a support for activity, it must help to increase the courage of the person conducting the activity, and the regular meeting must be held so that participants are able to freely express themselves. It was also revealed that the regular meetings must also function as (1) a place which summarizes and compliments the incomplete dialog between the person who conducts the activity and the participant, (2) a place where the person conducting the activity reconstructs his/her own (family) tale, and (3) a place where necessary knowledge such as techniques and methods on dialog and construction of relationships can be learned. Moreover, was suggested that the facilitator of a regular meeting must play the role of an adjustor or a promoter.
