総合ゼミは4年次において、すなわち学生がそれぞれの専門教育を一通り終了した時点で、改めて複数専門職間の連携を学ぶものである。この総合ゼミは2005年度からのカリキュラムにとりいれられるのでその試行を行った。授業内容は「模擬患者を各学科の学生が、各分野の視点から評価し、ケース会議を通して、QOLサポーターとして総合的に何ができるかを考えるものとする。」ものであった。各学科が参加しての合同演習により、学生のうちからそれぞれの専門性を生かして、患者(対象者)のより高いQOLを目指して検討しあうことができた。これは連携の必要性を認識する良い機会であった。連携教育を行うための総合ゼミは全国的にも類をみないものである。連携を目的にした授業課題についてはまだ多くのものが考えられ、それらを発掘していくことも重要である。

The Synthesis Seminar is a subject which students are taught in 4th grade in this university. The purpose of this Seminar is establishment of inter occupations connection, such as Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Dietician and Social Worker. And this Seminar will be start from 2005. So, we have had Trial of this seminar. The task of this seminar were after evaluate the client to take place the case conference. In the conference students have been able to learn how to improve the QOL of the patients. Also they could study importance of team work.
