Abstract
A problem about the notation of the foreign learner includes choice of two kinds of Kana. The learner can replace vocabulary got in a spoken language with Kana. However, he/she cannot determine which one he should use. I analyzed the vocabulary test for the student of the foreigner school to know what kind of problem children of a limited vocabulary had in notation in this report. As a result, instruction about the choice of the Kana notation is indispensable for a learner in the living environment mainly involving the Japanese as the spoken language.
