Abstract

「スリランカの学校訪問記」に続き，同国の教育省の担当者や大学の先生に，主に初等中等教育に関する事情についてインタビューした内容を報告する．学年はPrimary, Junior secondary, Senior secondary, Collegiateからなり，Universityへはそのあと進学する．試験制度によって教育内容が決められており，生徒はGCE Ordinary Level, GIT, GCE Advaced Levelの試験を受ける．Universityに進む生徒のうち約20％が情報分野の学部学科に進学する．
