Abstract

This paper analyzes the screenplay of the TV drama Itsuka Kono Koi wo Omoidashite Kitto Naite Shimau(Love That Makes You Cry) by Yuji Sakamoto fro mmultiple viewpoints. This work is “Monday 9”(a television drama aired at 9 oʼclock on Monday) and is about young romance, but it also has a serious theme. Although this work is presented as being realistic, and appears on the surface to be so, there are also many fantasy elements. This paper follows the story, focusing on the heroʼs voice and the actions of the master. It also considers the dead and the “scenes” held by him // they, and “the dramaʼs lie” which exposes a fictional gimmick etc.
