ターミナル領域における速度管制方式について理論的解析と方式評価を行った.方式評価の項目としては管制間隔を割る確率を警報率として定義し,待ち時間とあわせ取りあげた.この警報率および待ち時間について理論的解析を行い,シミュレーション結果と対比し理論的限界を示すと共に,各方式の得失を明らかにした.
The bounds for T_D (the average delay) and Pa (the probability of losing the separation) are obtained through theoretical analyses applied to more simplified models of the air traffic control (ATC). Such results of simulations are certified to lie in reasonable resions that are mentioned in the foregoing paper "Linear Holding in Approach Control (I)". From the viewpoint of T_D and Pa, evaluation and comparison are made within different approach control procedures which differ from each other in applying the linear holding. There is also discussed how to employ the linear holding to the actual ATC.
