底部の曲率半径Rを変えた90°V形切欠および半円形切欠をもつ構造要素が,切欠底部で局部的降伏をおこし,更に無制限流れに至る過程を,アルミニウム合金試験片にエポキシ・ポリサルファイド共重合体(エポキシ・ラバー)皮膜を接着し,実物光塑性により解析した.この結果,切欠底の弾塑性応力集中係数σ/σ_0および歪εの基準応力σ_0による変化の模様が明らかにされ,局部的降伏開始後のσ/σ_0~σ_0関係は切欠の鋭さによらず略同一の双曲線状曲線にのること,R→0の場合も含め,P_Y(flow limit)/P_<Y0>(局部的降伏のはじまる荷重)〓1.75~3.7程度の値をとることが知られた.

The processes of local yielding and unrestricted flow in uniaxial tension tests of notched Al alloy specimens are analyzed by means of photoelastic coating method, using an epoxy-polysulfide copolymer as the coating material. The shapes of notches are classified into two series: one is 90°V-shaped notch and the other is semicircular notch. The radii of curvature R at the bottoms of the notches are varied in the range between 5mm and nearly 0mm. The variation of elasto-plastic stress concentration factors σ/σ_0 and strains ε at the bottoms of the notches with standard stress σ_0 are clarified. The plots of σ/σ_0 versus σ_0 are shown by a hyperbola-like curve irrespective of the sharpness of notches, after the beginning of local yielding. The values of the ratio P_Y (flow limit)/P_<Y0> (the load at which a local yielding begins) are obtained as 1.75~3.7 for all tested cases including R→0.
