説明

If we try to speculate specifically the existing Buddha in the world after the death of Śākyabuddha, we will reach the Buddha (s) of the other worlds or the Buddha (singular) of this world. Representatives in the former direction are the Larger Sukhāvatīvyūha and the latter is the Lotus Sutra. The Larger Sukhāvatīvyūha creates Amida Buddha in the Pure Land, but its legitimacy is guaranteed by the storytelling of Śākyabuddha. The Lotus Sutra is completed in the direction that creates the Buddha of this world. With the emergence of these two sutras which established a new Buddha in this world or in the other world, it can be said that the attempt to create the present Buddha has been completed.
