乳児の母親の育児上困難な点と看護師の指導の実態を知り,外来において看護師が行う育児支援を検討することを目的に,自記式質問紙調査を実施した.対象は,A県内の小児科または小児外科を有する病院20施設の外来を受診した,1歳未満の乳児の母親337人である.対象を,子どもの特性ごとに,慢性疾患の子どもの母親108人,急性疾患の子どもの母親129人,健康診断の子どもの母親110人の3つに分類し,分析した.その結果,乳児の母親は,①体調不良時の対応についての困難が高いこと,②慢性疾患のある乳児の母親と健康な乳児の母親では,育児上の困難が多い時期が異なっていたこと,③公的な保健福祉領域の知識や,今後の見通しについての情報を求めていたこと,④乳児が病気の際や育児上困難なことがあった際に看護師への相談を希望していたが,現在看護師が行っている育児支援は充分ではないことが明らかになった.

The purpose of this study was to identify mothers' difficulties on infant parenting and nursing support and considar parenting support on childrens clinics. The data were collected through the questionnaire. Participants were 337 mothers of infants who visit clinics of 20 hospitals which have pediatrics or child surgeries. Participants were classified into three groups and analyzed.The results indicated that 1)mothers of infant had difiriculties of care and health management at the time of illness, 2)there was defferences phase of mother with choronic infant and mother with healty infant have difficulties, 3)mothers of infant seeked imformations abput public health ,public welfare and prospects for the near future, 4)mothers of infant want to consUlt nurses about infant's care and health management at infant's illness and difficulties on parenting, but nurse's parenting supoort is not enough.
