本研究の目的は,小学校算数科の図形指導から中学校数学科の図形の証明指導への適切な移行を促す指導を提案するために,図形指導に関する問題点を明らかにすることである。そのために,小学校6年生,中学校2年生及び3年生に対して,図形の作図に関する質問紙調査を実施し,その結果を示す。その結果を考察することにより,図形指導の問題点を抽出する。その結果,小学校算数科の図形指導から中学校数学科の図形の証明指導への適切な移行を促すために解決すべき問題点が図形の作図指導,図形の証明指導,作図指導前の図形及びその性質の指導のそれぞれに見られることが分かった。

In this study, issues of the teaching geometry based on the consideration of smooth transition from elementary to junior high school were clarified. First the survey for constructing geometric figures was administered and its results were analyzed. Next issues of the teaching geometry were pointed out on the basis of the analysis. We therefore conclude that there are improvement points in teaching of constructing geometric figures, teaching of proof in geometry, and teaching geometric figures in elementary school.
