抄録

Developing of parenting programs is one of most important tasks in Japanese educational systems. In this research, parenting programs were reviewed and special parenting programs for Junior and Senior High School Students in U.S. were investigated for the sake of gathering fundamental materials. Learning How to Care Curriculum was one of special parenting programs for teens and it was proved to be an effective program. In the process of this program, students experience authentic learning of parenting and caring to others.

現在,我が国においては,青年期を対象にした親になるための教育の充実が,重要な教育課題である。そこで,この課題検討のための基礎資料として,本論では,欧米におけるペアレンティングプログラムを概観した上で,特に,アメリカの中・高校生を対象にしたプログラムについて調べた。ここでは,教育的効果が実証されている Learning How to Care Curriculum を取り上げ,生徒たちが「幼児とその親の教室の訪問」を企画していく過程で,ケアリングスキルを学んでいく実践内容を明らかにする。
