本研究は, 家族経営協定の事後評価を行い, 構成員別に比較分析することによって, 評価要因を明らかにした.具体的には, 埼玉県の協定締結農家を対象にアンケート調査を行い, 得られたデータから満足度とその要因を記述的に捉えた後, 統計的検定手法や数量化理論を用いて, 締結後の評価に寄与する要因を多角的に考察した.その結果, 埼玉県では比較的大規模な園芸農家において締結されており, 女性を含む協定率が多く, 協定内容には労働に関する条項が多いものの, 行政が提示する雛形の域を脱していないことが分かった.そして, 協定の本来のターゲットである女性労働者に関して次のようなことが明らかになった.(1)同じ女性農業者でも経営主の妻と後継者の妻とでは, 家族協定に対する満足度やその要因は異なっている.(2)後継者の妻においては, 家事労働が軽減されていないことと, 研修会やグループ活動への参加の機会が少ないことが, 家族協定に満足できない要因となっている.(3)経営主の妻が家族協定に満足するには, 後継者の妻も加わり, 経営計画立案段階からの参加や, 家庭内での地位や役割が明確化された内容であることが必要である.

This paper examined farmers' response to farm household agreement that was signed among household members especially focusing on women in comparison with other male members. National and local governments are now promoting to have farmers sign farm household agreement to clarify the role of each member in both living and farm management aspects. We conducted quantitative analysis on the data obtained by the questionnaire survey for farmers who signed the agreement in Saitama. The main findings were followings: 1) Among female household members, there was a gap between householders' wives and successors' wives in terms of the degree of satisfaction for the agreement. 2) Successors' wives expressed dissatisfaction because the burden of housework and chances to attend study meetings and group activities did not improve after the agreement although husbands' wives were rather satisfactory on these aspects. 3) To improve the unfavourable situation for successors' wives and to promote participation in the farm management at the initial stage for them, it is necessary, to stipulate articles making husbands take part in the housework and to guarantee chances for young wives to be able to attend outside meetings.
