Abstract

Anjelica furcijuga Kitagawa is indigenous to japan and the whole plant has been used as a Japanese folk medicine for the treatment of hepatopathy, allergosis, inflammation, and hypertension. Two coumarins, Isopteryxin (1) and Isoepoxypteryxin (2), were isolated from the methanol extracts of both leaves and stems of Anjelica furcijuga Kitagawa in Miyazaki.
