- Students’ Daily Life and Their Career Prospects (2018): The Relationship between Career Education and Students’ Career Awareness
抄録
This paper presents the results of research conducted on students in 2018 at Ochanomizu University, focusing on the relationship between the university’ s career education program and students’ career awareness. A total of 941 students completed questionnaires about student life, career prospects, gender roles, and so on. The main findings are as follows: (1) the career education program is highly appraised by students for considering their career paths, (2) students who took the career education program had a tendency to job hunt more actively than those who did not take it as a subject, (3) students who followed non-traditional gender roles aspire to work as managers in the future more strongly than those who followed traditional gender roles, and (4) students who aspire to work as managers in the future tend to have high goals for studying at university.
