抄録

"Shimomachi district" is historic urban area where historic buildings are left. A lot of alleys are distributed same as historic buildings. A form of alleys is classified into three forms, and there is a local difference for distribution. However, some buildings adjacent to an alley does not obey the Building Standard Law. And there are problems that some buildings become an vacant house and a dilapidated house .Therefore plan to regenerate alleys is necessary.
