説明

This study surveys Chu-ko-sen that feature added kunten, and discusses the characteristics of how the text is rendered into Japanese. Chu-ko-sen is a collection of Setsuwa written in Waka-kanbun (Sino-Japanese) at the end of the Heian period. The characteristics of the language of this material were clarified by comparison with dictionaries of the same era (Iroha-Jirui-sho, Ruiju-myōgi-sho). The main conclusion is as follows. 1. There are characteristics in the Zenkun-fukun that added by writing the full word. 2. Most of this connection between Chinese characters and Kun is not found in Iroha-Jirui-sho and Ruiju-myōgi-sho.
