e-Japanなどe-businessを推進する機運が高まりつつある反面、みずほ銀行系のシステム障害のように不祥事も依然後を絶たない。従来、電子化はITに軸足を置き、IT側から対象をモデル化し実装を行うアプローチが主であった。ビジネス側面の議論とIT側面の議論が乖離しがちで、ビジネスの真の改革をe-businessとして達成することも、妥当なITシステムを実現することも困難なまま推移してきた。産業界や社会における課題を念頭に、対象をビジネスに限ってモデル化し改革しIT実装へ導くひとつの枠組みと方法を提案する。

e-business as seen in e-Japan has been drawn much public attention while systems implementation difficulties are also as seen in a banking operation. These imply that the existing inside-out approach of e-business does not work well enough due to the gap laid between the IT and the business domain. A business domain-oriented modeling methods are presented in this paper in accompanied with business process modeling and automatic UML model enact tools.
