Abstract

Alflabene, a new cyclohexene derivative isolated from Alpinia flabellata Ridl. (Zingiberaceae), is shown to be 3 -( 2、4、5 - trimethoxyphenyl) - 4 - ( 2、4、5- trimethoxystyryl) - 1 - cyclohexene by spectroscopic data and chemical　degradation. The structure was confirmed by synthesis.
