本研究は，スペイン第二共和政期（1931-1936 年）に，カタルーニャ地方の都市バルセロナにおいて同じ4 月23 日に開催された2 つの祭，すなわち，本の日とサン・ジョルディの日を対象に，それらがどのような都市空間で催されたものかを，当時の新聞記事等の情報をもとに再現，可視化を行ったものである．この分析を通じて，スペインナショナリズム研究が前提とする国家体地域というこれまでの対立的な見方から，ナショナリズムの共（依）存という別の図式へと至る道筋を見出していくのが，本研究の目的である．

This study focuses on two festivals ("Day of the Book" and " Sant Jordi’s Day") held on the April 23rd in Barcelona, a city in Catalonia, during the Second Spanish Republic (1931-1936). I visualized the two festivals from the viewpoint of spatial history based on newspaper articles and other information from that era. My purpose of this study is to find a way to move away from the traditional oppositional view of the nation and the region, on which previous studies of Spanish nationalism is based, to a different picture of the coexistence (interdependence) of the nationalisms.
