説明
To maintain and conserve UNESCU World Cultural Heritage sites over time in the future, it requires involvement of their stakeholders. Although existing literatures focus mainly on the relationship between the site administrators and their stakeholders such as local governments, public organizations of tourism associations, local companies, and local residents, it pays little attention to the relationship between the administrators and their third-party organizations in commercial transactions, and also the triad relationship containing their visitors as well. The purpose of this study is to reveal the aspects of third-party organizations’ engagement (i.e., third-party engagement) with maintenance and conservation of World Cultural Heritage sites. To accomplish this purpose, we conduct interviews with regard to the triad relationship from Service-Dominant (S-D) Logic perspective centering in third-party organizations. Two third-party organizations in Japan are selected through convenience sampling, bringing qualitative data. The finding suggests that three self-reinforcing cycles of the administrator’s value proposition cycle, the visitor’s value co-creation cycle, and third-party’s engagement cycle exist in the triad relationship. we develop and propose the conceptual framework integrating these three self-reinforcing cycles.
