In ventilation in living spaces, there is a need for energy-efficient ventilation that reduces the air conditioning load due to ventilation while maintaining the necessary ventilation volume to maintain and improve air quality. Total heat exchanger is becoming popular in recent years as energy-saving devices for reducing the air conditioning load during ventilation because they can reduce heat loss by recovering heat from the exhaust air and returning it to the room. The " Heat Exchange Ventilation System Using Collected Heat in Double Skin " in this study is a ventilation system that combines this total heat exchanger with a double skin that is effective in reducing the heat load near the wall surfaces. Since Japan has four seasons and external conditions differ depending on the time of year, more significant energy conservation effects can be expected by switching to a more energy-efficient operation method. In this study, we compared the energy-saving effects of various operation methods applicable to this system using a system simulation tool and investigated the optimal operation method for each season.
