Description

A simple measurement of chloride ion content in fresh concrete using a silver-silver chloride electrode was investigated. The salinity sensor was used to measure the amount of chloride ions in mortar, focusing on the influence of the time limit for unloading and bleeding of ready-mixed concrete. As a result, the following conclusions were obtained. (1) Within the unloading time limit of ready-mixed concrete, the measurement results of the chloride ion content in mortar by the salt sensor are almost unchanged. (2) Mortar bleeding has little effect on the measurement of chloride ion content by the salt sensor.( 3) Measurement accuracy of chloride ion content in fresh mortar by salinity sensor is about +/−10%.
